ISHR 2027 Conference ... Submission Deadline to Extended to August 1, 2026

Dear ISHR Colleagues, 

We have received a robust slate of submissions to our 2027 congress. I am excited to see such a vibrant and stimulating array of proposals!

I write now to say that, after consulting with the chair of the program committee, Bob Sullivan, we have decided to extend the submission deadline to August 1. This is to accommodate members of our community whose travel plans might be impacted by the likely change of conference dates to August 4–6 2027. Though I was unsuccessful in my attempts to officially secure the conference site prior to the UNAM July holiday, there is a very strong possibility that the change will be official before the end of this summer.

For this reason, the submission portal remains open. If you did not have an opportunity to submit prior to the deadline, please be encouraged to take advantage of this extension. I will keep you all informed about the official conference dates as soon as I receive final confirmation from the venue.
